peanut butter rum balls

RUMBLE! RUMBLE! RUMBLE! What's that sound? It means I'm hungry for a RUMBALL!

Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup good rum
1 cup ground walnuts
1/4 cup cocoa powder
powdered sugar

Combine all of the above ingredients except powdered sugar. Shape into small balls or whatever size you prefer. Roll in powdered sugar. Store in a tightly covered container.

  1. Thanks for the recipe! I just finished making them. They need to be a little sweeter and not so crumbly for my taste, so I added a little sugar and some more peanut butter.

We'll see how they go over tonight but I like them.

    Thanks.

  2. Cool! Most rum balls seem to be made with corn syrup. We decided against using corn syrup which might explain why these are less sticky and less sweet than the status quo. It's good to know though that more sugar and more peanut butter might help.
