pistachio kale pesto

Why wait for basil?

Ingredients:
pistachios
kale
grated parmesan cheese
garlic
olive oil
lemon juice
water
salt
black pepper

Blend the pistachios in a food processor.  Lightly steam the kale.  Throw everything in the food processor for a whirl.  Adjust flavors as necessary.

  1. Yum I've been wanting to make garlic scape pesto recently but this sounds incredible too! And probably cheaper w.out the basil. I love, love pistachios.
